Alex spent seven years in Halifax at Dalhousie University obtaining his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees prior to moving back to his hometown of Yarmouth. He graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 2007 and was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2008. Alex is married and has two daughters and a son. He is currently the President of the Yarmouth County Barristers’ Society and is the Past President of the Western Counties Barristers’ Society. Alex sits on the board for the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation, the Yarmouth Golf and Country Club and the CBDC. He is also a past member of the Rotary Club in Yarmouth.

Alex practices primarily in Criminal law but also practices Real Estate, Personal Injury and Wills/Estates.
